We have indulged in reading about sleeplessness, night delusions, the disappearance of the night, and sobering up for our Good Morning Lucidity Vol I, @ Baleno International. We followed with Xtremely Online at Basement Roma, and we’ve read about internet melancholy, (mis)connection, and being based. Finally, for SEXY BEAST at Ermes Ermes, we’ve read about ugly attractions, sensual repulsions and all things grotesque.

Crack Reading Club is a reading event founded in Rome that takes place on Sundays, in different spaces, to explore texts, books, writers, readers and ideas in all their forms. Adapting to each space and its collaborators, CRC is about collective reading—connecting through texts with different sources and formats: literature, diaries, poems, songs, articles, scripts, online blogs, posts—linked together through curated themes.

CRC is about hardcore reading.

More to come, stay linked.
